Mr Rebates & Rakuten 10% today.  Not bad combined with free shipping that lasts through the weekend. No way of knowing how long the 10% rebates will last.

If you use topcashback currently how long does it take for a payout?  When I used it a few years ago it took about 4 months so I stopped using it.

Hi @rockygems123 ...good question...on average I'd say a month or two. And I do have to stay on top of it. I go in an check my account and see what payouts can be released every month. They don't automatically go into my bank acct; I have to release them on TCB's site.

I started using TCB more than Rakuten because I'm set up to get checks from Rakuten and they only pay them out after you reach a certain amt and also only quarterly. Whereas, TCB I can go into my account and send straight into my checking acct. and they pay as soon as the vendor processes it. Also on avg, every time I checked TCB had much higher discounts.

All that said, and usually it works ok but...it at times seems wonky or maybe occasionally I use it incorrectly...b'cuz currently I'm chasing down 3 discounts that never got registered, all purchased with QVC. I need to fill out a missing payment report on TCB's site to get that handled. It's a lot of chasing down for a few dollars off. I'll still do it.

I've never tried using the 3rd one OP mentioned.

Hope that helps!

I have no issues with Top Cashback, they work the same as all the other sites. And their rates are usually the highest.

[ Edited ]

I use most of the rebate sites and make my decision of which to use according to who is giving the best rebate.  I have had problems on all of them with tracking, and I am very careful to click through to the website from the rebate site, not leave the retail site, and to not already have the item I'm going to purchase in my cart--that messes things up sometimes.  Thank goodness once you contact customer service on all the rebate sites, the problems are usually corrected with a little hoop-jumping, but yes...I hoop-jump.  I am retired and have the time, and I might as well have that money as them!

There are some retail sites that seem to always have trouble with certain rebate sites, so I avoid using the two together.  For example, I have trouble with ebay and Retailmenot and Vitacost and Topcashback (the latter was the only one that was never resolved--read the fine print later and saw that I had used a code from Vitacost, which negated the cash back--other rebate sites aren't that picky).  Have had issues with QVC and Mr. Rebates and currently have an outstanding ticket with HSN and Topcashback--have read the fine print on that one, and there is no reason it should have been declined, so here's hoping on that one, since it is $6.

My favorite rebate site with little to no issues or issues are readily resolved, and you can be paid monthly if you have $10 of rebates is Mr. Rebates.  I find myself using topcashback more, though, because it has better rebates and will offer cash bonuses to make a purchase from their site.  For example, yesterday if you went through TCB, they gave you a $3 bonus plus was offering 22% cash back at HSN!  I only bought two clearance items equally around $30, but my total rebate from them including the bonus is over $10!

Make sure you always read the fine print on these rebate sites.  TCB says 12% today but if you scroll through the whole offer, clearance is 1% and electronics are 3%.

I just looked at my payout schedule, and most payouts are 14 weeks!  I always know this when I go through them, but I do it anyway, because they give the biggest rebate usually.  I have 90 cents payable right now and over $40 pending.  lol

Re: Mr Rebates & Rakuten today

I get the feeling it is up to the vendor how long it takes for the rebate money to be claimed. some are a lot less than others, HSN is one of the longest.  Ebay is fairly quick.

You are exactly right. My $.90 payout is from eBay, and the 14 week payments that are pending are from HSN.

Re: Mr Rebates & Rakuten today

Rakuten pays out quarterly; for me it's Feb, May, Aug, Nov. Must accumulate $15 payout per quarter; if not $$ owed go into next quarter. Many cash back options available in cyber space; Rakuten is just my go-to. Choose what you're comfortable using.
