Watched Monifa with Stan Herman.   She did a good job and showed great respect to him, which was nice.  She needs a little polish in avoiding talking over the vendor, but that can come with experience and mentorship.

I was surprised that she had a theatre background and looked her up online.   She seems very talented, as is her husband.   An interesting video:

I agree that Monifa is definitely improving. I had my doubts at first but now I can see her potential. I enjoyed the clip @NYwoman . She and her husband are a talented, cute couple. Nice to see.

I generally like Monifa, and think she is a good host.

HOWEVER, SHE NEVER LET STAN HERMAN GET A WORD IN!!

I ONLY WATCHED THE LAST 15 MIN OF THE SHOW.

I WAS EMBARRASED!!!  HE TRIED TO SPEAK ON SO MANY OCCASIONS AND SHE JUST IGNORED HIM.  NOT ACCEPTABLE!

@qvc chick , Since so many hosts do this, newer and seasoned, I'm beginning to think this is what they are directed to do, probably to speed things up. I agree it's annoying, but we don't know what is coming through their producers.

I stayed up to watch the Stan show because I enjoy listening to him.  And I love his clothing; own many pieces.  And I like Monifa!!  But, she really didn't let him talk!  In fact, I thought he seemed a bit frustrated at a certain point!!

I think that Monifa seems overwhelmed by expectations of her presentations.   She may well be pressured to get in facts or end the presentation asap.   I think the fault is on the director's end.   Both need training.   If she is allowed to be herself and not overly pressured, she could succeed more.
