Ouch! 😁

@EatWell More nasty folks, more nasty posts, more removals. It all adds up.

@Johnnyeager Perhaps the distinction the poster was trying to make was that QVC is a private-sector company (individual businesses, for-profit, non-government entities) versus a government agency. So many posters want to cry "freedom of speech" which has nothing to do with QVC or any other private sector company. The poster may have wanted to cut that argument off at the pass.
Just my thoughts on it.

I like a spirited discussion as much as the next person but religion, politics and BLM are subjects that are taboo for me unless it is a board specifically devoted to that particular subject.
I learned early on that host criticism is banned for the most part although soft critiques seem to be OK. I have never reported a post, not my job. The ones that get to me are the ones that get personal and attack a poster just because the may not hold the same opinion. Disagree with the opinion, not the poster. Or the posters, (I call them grumps) that negatively comment on just about anything and add nothing IMO to the conversation. Lastly, don't tell anyone how to spend their money or their crazy for purchasing an expensive item just because it doesn't appeal to you. Rant done!

@Susiemama wrote:Thank you! And if that's challenging a moderator, then it's worse than I thought.
If you don't like how this place is run, then the internet is vast, and I'm sure that you can find another chat board that is more to your liking, or you can create your own chat board, and run it the way that you want.
No one is forcing you to stay here.
So, if you want to play here, you have to abide by their rules, whether you like the rules of not.

@SuhseKYou gave an obvious example of what is OK and what is not. However there is subjectivity involved and "gray areas" about what would get poofed. The mods are human and there are several of them
Therefore there is not 100% consistency in what gets poofed, due to the subjectivity element of deciding what to delete.
Also I am leery when a poster posts "I think we all know...." since no, people really can't speak for others about what they do or don't know.
@SuhseK - I have to agree with @Pearlee . Your example was obvious and it's not always that obvious. What one moderator poofs, another moderator may not deem it proof worthy.

@mspatmac Totally agree. I know of one 'grumpy' poster who constantly attacks everyone, and most every post on the forums, who has a different opinion from her. It's sad actually.

There are a number of posters who think any opinion other than theirs is bashing them so they report them which gets the post poofed. People need to put on their grown up panties if they want to post.
