Cracks me up -menopause Monday. When I went through menopause in the 90’s you only talked about it with your Dr or maybe a good friend.Of course, we blamed everything on “ oh she’s going through the change “

Wouldn't it be nice if it only happened on Mondays instead of seven days a week?!  lol

I would hope that this subject would be confined to the doctor's office or just a good friend.  qvc is a shopping channel. That is all.  I am watching so much less because of shows like this and the 50fab. Immature, inappropriate, loud and obnoxious hosts. Talking about anything but the item that is for sale.  Not for me.

Less watching means less buying.

@Beacon girl

Your antidote reminded me of my mother. She, too, experienced the change in the late '90s, but she was not subtle about it. She would announce, "I am having a flash," throw her arms out wide, and fan herself.

She was pretty funny when she wanted to be, so most people laughed.

One night my sister and I were to meet her at a local community theater. We walked in and saw the arm-fling-fan-motion from the way in the back. It made her easy to spot if nothing else.

@timeless -  I came here to say just that.  Night sweats might be taking years off my life.

So condescending.  We did it, but we got over it.  Would be interesting to see how the sales are, guess we will know if they cancel the series.

Another life experience. MENOPAUSE. Now I refer to it as MEN ON PAUSE.

I COMPLETED MY TEN YEARS lol from peri menopause to post menopause.

It was a hard ten years. Hot flashes, weight gain, hormone changes and a failed marriage.

I have never been more peaceful as I am today post all of it. Age 65.

All I say to women who ask me what was it like or should expect...and I say honestly, a roller coaster ride.  HANDS UP.

I agree.  The focus should be the products.
