Well, here comes the party pooper....

I have watched (although much less these days) the Q since the 90s and I have always found MB difficult to watch.  This is not to say she isn't a lovely person, because she certainly seems to be; but her manner of speaking and her over-explaining of minutia drive me crazy.

I just think that you're used to seeing overly hyped hosts. She is not one of them.

I watched her for years and felt at times she was too opinionated . She is a good host and I like how she presents the product. She could be a trainer for the other hosts coming in.

I have to agree.  No one is sweeter, but I find her lengthly, over explanations a bit hard to take.  This is nothing new, she has always been that way.  She's gotten a little slower and that makes her such a contrast to the majority of hosts that are more energetic and excited about their presentations.

I knew she was, as many newer hosts have mentioned it. I've always wondered how so many are a tad "over enthusiastic" when they have been trained by someone so calm. Does she encourage this? Or does someone else?

Yes the frantic host at nighty ios  irritating.  I live in the West so prime time I do  not nererd to see or hear the frantic one.  Mary Beth has been there the longestest....she needs to give lessons to those thatt think they know wverything.  I refuse anymore, to watch or buy anthintg that the frantic one pushes down our throats.  Mary Beth is such class.
