Speaking of Jane and speaking about her daughters, I am about to tell you a lil secret that will absolutely floor you, so hold onto your seat. Jane trains for marathons! I bet you haven't heard that yet (or maybe 1,000x's already), but its true!

I quit watching a long time ago, after Kathy Levine left. I felt comfortable with Mary Beth, and a couple of other guests. But omg some of the new hosts and that dancing twirling vender just got me not to watch. Especially when some vendors seemed to be on all the time. Not to worry, there is online and they have a huge selection online, with better descriptions than most hosts give. I can read sizes, colors look closely. I used to love many of the old handbag shows, especially Isabella Fiore ( now that's a blast from the past). lol. I just got upset after the hosts spent whole hour talking about their life, style how we will look Madison Ave and never even open the darn handbag to look inside. Really! Not Mary Beth, and the old quard. That had rulers if needed, examined each pocket , zipper, tried it on, commented about comfort, etc, if color was true to TV color. The gamut .. less disappointment. I started watching in 1989, so I was spoiled

I remember long ago she said she asked to work only day hours, the nights were too much for her.

I highly doubt that Mary Beth is being made to retire.
Besides if that was the case don’t you think that it would make other hosts so stressed out and uncomfortable that it would show on air.
I haven’t seen that at all. 🤗🤗🤗
Congrats to Mary Beth!!! ⭐️
Well deserved and Wishing her Much Happiness in the next chapter of her life! 💕
@RescueLover. Agree, when QVC decides it's time to go, you're out the door in minutes. No tears or lingering good-byes. No announcements.

That's not a secret. Jane has mentioned several times that I remember that she runs 5K marathons. I think one of her daughters has joined her.

I think she said a zillion times that she walks them.

Carmie, the poster was kidding! We all know about her marathons that she walks! She brings them up whenever she can. And, she does not run marathons; she walks.

@happilyretiredgirl wrote:Retirement is a happy time when a person can retire in good health and enjoy life. I retired after 45 years with the same company. When you become eligible for retirement you will know when it's time. My employer did not want me to retire but I was ready so not everyone as they age are forced into retirement. I am loving retirement.
If Mary Beth is retiring I wish her the best, however we will probably see her back as a Vendor in time.
@happilyretiredgirl I love this response! I retired after 30 years of teaching, two years ago. I do sub from time to time but I enjoy being retired. Also, I have health issues that aren't getting any better as I get older. I wanted to retire on "my terms", not due to health issues!
Best wishes to Mary Beth, wherever her journey takes her!
