Re: Mary Beth Roe Announcement

Gosh, Mary Beth, I'm going to have to try real hard to stay up that late--but I will!

Re: Mary Beth Roe Announcement

I highly doubt that Mary Beth is being made to retire.

Besides if that was the case don’t you think that it would make other hosts so stressed out and uncomfortable that it would show on air.

I haven’t seen that at all. 🤗🤗🤗

Congrats to Mary Beth!!! ⭐️

Well deserved and Wishing her Much Happiness in the next chapter of her life! 💕

@RescueLover

I agree ( about being "made" to retire....)

That being said...it it IS the Big Announcement....get ready for the tidal wave of Carolyn-esque postings...

I always wonder...how long DO people want these TV salespeople to work?

Wanna see David reciting colors when he's 85?

Or Jane excitedly regaling us about her DAUGhTER'S retirement parties??!?!?!?!

Re: Mary Beth Roe Announcement

Retirement is a happy time when a person can retire in good health and enjoy life.  I retired after 45 years with the same company.  When you become eligible for retirement you will know when it's time.  My employer did not want me to retire but I was ready so not everyone as they age are forced into retirement.  I am loving retirement.

If Mary Beth is retiring I wish her the best, however we will probably see her back as a Vendor in time.

I hope this isn't true. First thing I ever bought here? Betty Ball doll. Second? Gold herringbone necklace. Both from Mary Beth. I went on a Q tour many years ago. We met her and she was just a darling.

@Othereeeen 😂

David got to go back in time recently presenting the retro set of Lock n Lock that were identical to the first set sold on air.

I just sat down to read this thread. If Mary Beth is retiring, I will certainly miss her very much. I like her because I can relate to her, and her presentations come across as very genuine. I feel like I'm listening to one of my peers. I especially appreciate her unabashed profession of her deeply held faith. She's an inspiration!

I'm starting to think it's time I retired from QVC as well. I don't relate to most of the newer hosts, and most of the products presented are not relevant to my life.

The same thoughts have been going through my head as well.
