Have never seen David, Rick or Dan hosting women's fashion segments, but have noticed several times Alberti doing womens fashion on either Q1 or Q2.  Anyone else noticed him doing womens fashions; would much prefer to see him doing home-style shows, he is great at home style/design....

I think Alberti does a good job at whatever he sells. He is always informed and presents information well.

I believe all 3 mentioned have done Joan Rivers presentations

during her peak of popularity..especially during the TSV days.

David, Rick and Dan have been there for years and already have their niche. Alberti is establishing his. I think all of these hosts mentioned do a good job.

I don't watch enough to see him do those presentations.  However, if a male can design women's clothing, why can't they sell them?

I didn't see it, but think it's a great thing!  So many of the women - the newer/younger ones that is - are screamers. laughers, whatever, but they act like it's all about them;  and it isn't!

Years ago they had one of the men doing fashion with LR, I believe.  I see no problem with that.

I don't watch Monday nites anymore - just can't take mispronounciations, endless chatter, etc.  If Alberti replaced the Monday nite hosts, I'd be listening in a heartbeat again! Also, HSN has male hosts for fashion, I think.

I can remember one night years ago on the Q, one of the hostesses was out sick, and Paul Deasy had to pinch hit and host a Breezies show, can you imagine him doing that now?

@ScarletDove. Dan Hughes hosted a Cuddl Duds presentation just last week. But it shouldn’t make any difference, in most cases.  Do you also want to suggest that Louis Dell’Olio, Bob Mackie, Isaac Mizrahi and other male designers of women’s fashions to stop designing and presenting them?

So?  I don't think some hosts do garden shows do they?  Some don't do jewelry.  I don't see anything unusual here.

I think Alberti has done a fine job whenever I’ve seen him. I very rarely watch the Q live but check items I’m interested in via iPad.
