@Kachina624 wrote:@Angels&Ladybugs. When you place a phone order, you must enter your PIN number. How could anyone but you have known this unless you've "loaned" it to someone else? I can understand how the CS person could have doubted you. I don't know how or why QVC could have sent you a cosmetic set by "accident".
In the future, it makes reading easier if you break your post into paragraphs.
I had no idea how phone orders work until I called to tell them I did not place this order. I don't have a pin since I have never ordered by phone.
I totally get the rep doubting me at first because I'm sure they hear all kinds of crazy stuff, but the incident as a whole does not make sense and a simple, "We are sorry this happened, just return and we will refund everything" would have gone a long way.
In retrospect, I am glad it happened because I learned how they store cc numbers and am much more vigilant by checking that part of my account everyday to prevent it from happening in the future.
And thanks for the tip about the paragraphs. ![]()

@crackster wrote:Husband also noticed that the bill was for a vehicle with six axles, and our car has two. The lady at the Pike Pike Office told my husband that someone obviously stole our tag and put it on a semi, or we had a trailer that we were pulling. My husband said, "no our tag is not missing". She said she would talk to the Pike Pass Office in Kansas, and would get back to us. I know it is $6.98 but somebody needs to make this right, but doubt that it will ever happen. Probably not the only people to whom this has happened.
Nope, I'm sure you aren't. It's a shame that you didn't notice that trailer that you hitched up and pulled all the way to Kansas,!
These reps are creative if nothing else.

Is it still acceptable to mark REFUSED on a package sent by USPS unopened and it is returned to sender? I used to do that many years ago on occasion like when one was sent something like Greeting Cards and you were supposed to buy or donate money for the package.?

There is something very fishy about this story. I have made many calls to CS over the last 25 years that I have shopped at the Q. NEVER once has CS been rude, disrespectful or so outlandish in their attempt to help. I think the OP has embellished this ridiculous story to make it appear that CS is responsible for this nonsense.
You are certainy entitled to your opinion and as I stated earlier, what you or anyone else "believes" is of no consequence to me. I did not post this in hopes of getting anyone to "believe" me, as the opinions of strangers affects my life in no way. I posted it to let people who choose to check on their credit cards on file, know what can happen, as it happened to me.
I have never had a problem with scores of companies over the years, but am not naive enough to think that my experiences encompass the experiences of the entire population.
Check your account, don't check your account, it doesn't matter to me. If I wanted to embellish a story, trust me, I could do much better than this "nonsense". Believe it or not, companies the size of QVC can make mistakes. Hopefully it will not happen to you.

@sunchildSorry, but I disagree that the OP is exaggerating. Last week i received an "as is" gold plated necklace. The pendant was fine but the entire chain was a different color of gold..... brassy, darker and orange. I called CS and told them that this should never have been sold like this, that I wouldn't even buy this at the dollar store. I wanted a refund including my shipping and handling refunded also.
She said because it's "as is", that they would not do that. I told her that this was not acceptable and certainly not quality or convenience. Then she proceeded to challenge me by stating that it was probably a return and that the last customer has used hair spray that changed the color. I said that if that was true why wasn't the pendant "turned" also, and that I thought the reality was that the pendant and chain were probably never originally a set.
Next she went on to say that the original recipient probably just put hand lotion on and handled just the chain! I said to her, " Please stop. Your are just making up false scenarios to fit a specific situation, I want to speak to a supervisor." I was told that no one was available but she would have one call me back in one to four hours. Well, of course, none did!
The next day, after I was cooled down, I called back and a different rep told me to just return it with the QVC label and of course all my money would be refunded. And she was sorry about the service I received.
I think that maybe the OP spoke to the same agent that I did!

Just because you never experienced a rude or disrespectful CS agent doesn't mean they don't exist at QVC or the OP didn't experiece one.

I knew I couldn't be the only one she spoke to!
Fun aside, I am sorry this happened to you, but thanks for replying.

What you need to do if that happens, is talk to the Mods here on the boards. That is what I would do. If it can be fixed, they will fix it.

@Gorgf. Yes, I do that occasionally when I try but cannot cancel an order.
