I don't think you can lump all older women into one category. I have seen a lot of "older" women with longer hair - especially when it is silver or salt and pepper - that look gorgeous!

Interesting. Watch the film "A Place in the Sun" with Elizabeth Taylor. She is stunning, around 19 years old and has a hairstyle much like Mary Beth's. So much for being an old lady hairstyle.😉

Ok here you go… to determine short hair or long hair


Get a pencil and ruler out. 🤗



While holding your pencil horizontally under your chin, place your ruler vertically under your ear so you’re creating an L shape with the 2 items.

The point at which the pencil and ruler come together is your measurement. If that number is 2.25 “ or fewer than YOU have a face for short hair. So chop away! 😂

What makes her look older is that black eyeliner that she wears, especially under her eyes. Very very unflattering on her soft coloring.

Style, Beauty, Art, etc are in the eye of the beholder. We each will age and grow older, if we are fortunate and our looks will change. I believe that the truest form of beauty is not on one's appearance but on one's personality. ❤️
