@just wonder wrote:I have NEVER had any problems whatsoever with Luminara candles over the years and have many many of them setting around my home on timers. LOVE them! They have the most realistic flame and those so-called "flames" on QVC's in-house brand of candles and others are terrible. They do not look anything like flames. PLEASE QVC tell us Luminara will be back frequently!! (otherwise, others here that like them, sign up for their emails!)

I have many Luminara candles. Taper candles for windows at Christmas, pumpkin and acorn and embedded cylinders for Fall, snowballs, votives and berry embedded cylinders for Christmas. I have used these for 5 years and have not had any problems at all. They all work with remotes.
When I come home and look up at my windows in December I would swear I have real candles in the windows!
One poster said she thought that the technology patent for the Luminara flame had expired. They might be right because I have seen a few candles that are not Luminara with the flickering flame recently. As a matter of fact, Valerie Parr Hill was on today with taper candles that had the flickering flame technology. They were metallic and in very unnatural candle colors though.

I've got lots of flameless candles but Luminara is my favorite. I've used them for many years and never had a problem with any of them except for the tapers. Seems they've branched out and many establishments sell them now, even our local Lowes carries them. I don't necessarily "need" them to look like they're real candles but I do like the flickering they provide.

I've had some for over 15 years. I also like that most of them come with a remote or work with other Luminara remotes.

I've had some of my Luminara candles for years and others conked out in a year. I've had no luck with the tapers, at all.

I only buy battery candals on Amazon when I find cheaper prices. These candals are too pricey and they do stop working after awhile.

I came on here to say the same thing. I think they had too many returns from that orange candle debacle and quality control issues with a few more runs. That combined with the fact that I don't think many of the novelty shaped candles did as well as the classic pillars meant it was time to pull the brand back for now. I think they'll be back. I noticed a similar situation back in 2015 or 2016 and people here on the forums were ready to riot if Q didn't bring Luminara back. I'm not seeing that level of outrage now. Time will tell.
