@Wj110  the sweaters I have have been washed for over 15 yrs, a few times a year .  No pilling, they are perfect,,but remember mine are old. Things are different now. Most  harms, and such are not manufactured right. They are made to be off the assembly line quick.  And frankly I don't thing manufacturers care much once product is out and sold.    I can't attest to what her sweaters do now.   I  can say I have bought top brands in stores and get pilling . It's my pet peeve. I hate it. Some pills while you are wearing it. It means they skipped steps in fabrication.  Fogures

Maybe I just got one from a bad batch. I just go with what I know and buy from Talbots, no pilling but some of the merchandise is a little questionable! That’s the way of the world I guess!

@Wj110   I have learned to go with what I know.  And frankly these days that often doesn't help, lol!  I can order one brand with 95% no issue. Then they get a batch of fabric that isn't right.  Pilling to me is my biggest pet peeve. Once pilling has occurred, especially in cotton, bamboo, etc it is worthless. Looks so tacky amd old. jMHO of course!
