They keep selling the rectangle containers without the butter dish tray with markimgs.

I have one but my daughter would like one.  Might have to buy it from Amazon.  Oh well.

@Fribwl  Why not check their website for one?

I have a bunch of lock and lock. Never again. Cannot get the lids off! My dominant hand is permanently weak because of surgery. Both hands have arthritis. I have tried all kinds of tools to pry off those lids. This type of storage is definitely not for ppl with hand issues. I've taken to covering the contents with foil.

@smoochy

Hope that doesn't happen to me!  The arthritis in my hands keeps getting worse, and some things are so hard to do, but so far no problem at all with my L&L. Just don't ask me to push any buttons or open any "hermetically sealed" containers.  Everything nowadays seems to come sealed in plastic that defies removal. Ugh.

I end up using a spoon to pry most of the time the flap up. I really don't like L&L, in addition to the difficulty opening, I have trouble closing it as well. But more than anything, I hate trying to store it. The only reason I ever bought it was to use it in the motorhome and for DH to take soup in his lunch.

 I was wondering if perhaps you were heating them up in the microwave with the lid on it? That would create a vacuum that tightens the lid on it making it nearly impossible to open as the seal would be stuck. If not, im so sorry for the pain you have  to endure and the frustration it must cause.
