They have changed their policy. Now you must take two pictures,of the item you want replaced and now you must show the copy of purchase.I was told by  LocknLock rep. that this is the new policy because some people were dishonest,and requested free  parts ,so because of their dishonesty,people like me,who have purchased so much of the product{I have two cabinets full] cannot get  lids without alot of work!
