Items they sell don't actually fly out the door.
@Kachina624 , And they are not literally liquid, Susan. LOL
@QVCkitty1. Also Liquid Knit does not literally erase lumps and bumps.

Okay, may I join in?
EVERYONE IS NOT WANTING THIS!! David has always said "Everyone is wanting_____" and now other hosts are saying it in the past few months.
I AM NOT WANTING THE ITEM AS SOON AS THEY SAY "EVERYONE IS WANTING A_______"

Mary D. Cannot stretch the word FLYING anymore! Yesterday Mary was on with the Beekman boys and all the 9 piece bars of soap special went flying-sold out! Well I guess it flew back in as it was still available last night. She was a little overly enthusiastic yesterday on that show.

@Joni R You ask what is up with the word "literally", so here is my personal opinion. "Literally & Honey" are spoken by a certain Host to the point that anyone listening has to pick up on it. Also, the same Host repeats stories about her family to the point that many potential Shoppers change the channel but it doesn't seem to make any difference because apparently, corporate does not read these forums. And given the number of years that said Host has worked for this company, they must be lapping up her drivel like kitty milk. I honestly think she knows that those are hot button issues with a lot of customers and she keeps doing it ad nauseam because she enjoys annoying others. I have known many, many people from all walks of life and no one is that "happy" and smiles continuously throughout entire presentations. A good example would be this. One year we went on a 6 hour car ride to Niagra Falls and took my Brother in Law and his Wife with us. He had a pop can in his hand and he squeezed it in his hand continuously for the last 4 hours of the trip. The more we all complained about the noise, the more he enjoyed doing it. He never stopped until we got there, even though his Wife was practically begging him to stop! I get the same vibe from said Host. Just hateful. In my humble opinion.

Jane T uses the word constantly. I think she does it a lot because she knows it ANNOYS people. She also does the same with the word "honey."

This post reminds me of a Frasier episode where a caller told Frasier that his mother was literally hanging around the house. Frasier had to correct him by telling him that the word he should be using was figuratively. He told the caller that for her to be literally hanging around the house she would have to be a bat.
Of course that didn't go over well with the caller and he insulted Frasier and then hung up.
I'm always surprised at how many people misuse that word. They "literally jumped out of their skin" or they "literally laughed so hard they busted a gut".
Sorry to hijack this thread but when I see that word I always think of that Frasier episode.
