Well, the Q never acted like they were sorry to see her go. After 25 years I would hope they would have showed her how much at the end, instead of that sorry farewell. Corporate would have shown appreciation if they wanted to.

What I didn't like about the interview is that she didn't offer any specific information to help others it seemed like she told her story and used the time to promote herself - kinda misleading Lisa R. Didn't refer any numbers, agencies, support groups....nothing

I don't think this person really gave any information. Management wouldn't be allowed to discuss anyone's contract anyway because of privacy laws. Her contract might have been renewed with no wage increase or they might have even wanted her to take a pay cut.

Hi lovescats

My friends did not give me any other information than what I posted. She did put to bed the fact that Lisa R was not fired. My friend did not say anything about her contract - only that Lisa R was not on the chopping block like many of the posters surmise. And she reinforced that QVC was sorry to see her leave. I wish Lisa R well.

All of this speculation and suicion even after reading a probably credible source that she left on her own after many years of a very demanding career and no discussion about her real reason for appearing on GMA - multiple stalkers during her career on air.

Lisa discussed the several stalkers during her tenure at the Q. How she has learned and handled these situations. She also talked about how she is now enjoying her downtime from public life...
