Perhaps she gets paid by ""words-per-minute"" ... could that be why her salary is equal to some Fortune 500 companies. I truly believe these hosts and vendors have no idea how irritating and uninformative they are when both talk at the same time as well.

The hosts' compensation is based at least partially on the number of sales and the show's producer is speaking into the host's earpiece telling them how sales are going and coaching them on speeding things up, etc. Lisa is the top Q salesperson----there's a reason for it---and that, after all, IS her job and she does it well. Let's not forget this is a shopping channel, not a talk show.

I don't consider Lisa rude or fame hungry . I think she has product information that she thinks is important for the buyer and has a limited amount of time to get the info across. Some posters complain because not enough product info is given and some complain because TOO much info is given. There is no way to make everyone happy. I am not a particularly big fan of Lisa...especially her hair and makeup and do think her presentations get too giggly at times, but I cant fault her for giving product information that is necessary to make a good buying decision.

I agree...HSN has the worst hosts. Take a listen, they say weird insignificant things, consistantly. When the HSN hosts take over they are lost for words, at least QVC are well trained and articulate.
