Jane returned after only one year gone from QVC. She returned in May 2005 as a part-time host.

@Pyrite2616    WOW, I never knew Jane left for a year, but that is prob because I didn't start watching QVC til a few yrs after her return. Any reason as to why she left and I assume it was on her terms, unlike Carolyn, Dan, Antonella, etc.

@QVCTVSpree Jane left on March 13, 2004 after her husband was let go from the company following new management in fall 2003. The were three other hosts that left around that time: Paul Deasy in Nov. 2003, Kim Parrish in Dec 2003, and Judy Crowell in April 2004. They all had the chance to say goodbye and Kim and Judy's spouses came on for their farewell. Sean and the girls came on Jane's final show. Some people on the boards claimed that Jane left right before St. Patrick's Day to hurt QVC: no one could possibly know if that's true. Jane reconsidered and asked for her job back a year later.

Especially if someone is not returning as an employee.

Reading some of Dan Hughes facebook posts, it's pretty clear that QVC booted him out on his a**.

He's pretty honest and open about how he feels, and you can tell it still stings for him.

@longtimeqvcwatcher    Agreed!! I guess I am one of many who also confuses fired and laid off, but I always have thought its the exact same. Oh well, I guess you learn something new everyday. It still seems the same to me tho, lol

My thought too.  She has said she's writing a book and wants to focus on family and religon.  I would guess she had a lot of company reaching out to work with her. She's so dynamic.
