I am honestly surprised at most of these comments.
If I left my job and a celebrity vendor offered me a very part time gig at the same company making good money, I'd jump at it. Especially since I already know how to do it, know everything about the place and have been successful.
Many of you are sounding like she came crawling back to QVC begging for a job because she's desperate.
So many former hosts come back as vendor reps because the vendor knows what they're getting, someone who the target audience is familiar with and has a good sales record.

I also don't understand some of these comments.
Any grand farewell when an employee leaves is at the discretion of the employer.
So a past employee returns working for an outside contractor in a different role. Past employees at many, many companies do the same, or they are hired as consultants. It affords an individual flexibility they may not have had as a full time employee.
I think most of the comments are just justifying displeasure with former host.

Harry Slatkin said that Jennifer Coffey e-mailed him requesting a job. I wouldn't be surprised if Kerstin did the same thing. In a way they did come crawling back.

Complete conjecture. Also Jen is in a different life phase Kerstin. And in the end, so? It's still a great gig if you can get one.

They are not back full time so if they left for family it's probably true.
What a bunch of nasty comments. Their employment or not affects nothing.
I believe next to nothing that comes from Lindquist except I do believe that she follows the teachings of Lou Engle. Even brought her daughter to Manhattan to see him. And that's her biblical truths story. She quotes him when she uses his rhetoric and fasting timelines. Dangerous stuff.

Congratulations and good luck to both Kerstin and Jennifer.
There's absolutely nothing wrong (in my book) with anyone wanting to earn a paycheck and make a living.

Some of the most professional vendors, in my opinion, and not necessarily former hosts, are the ones who can sell just about anything. My particular favorites are Kiley Watts and Jennifer Kovich. They both can transition from one product to another with ease and knowledge.
