I like to "hear" what the former hosts are up to.  What's wrong with sharing this information on a Q forum?

There was plenty of talk about Carolyn and Dan when they left. Not too much to discuss about MaryBeth. It was a very long goodbye for a well liked, sweet woman.

While I do not believe, trust, or respect ANYTHING that comes out of her mouth, I will say that at least she is out there trying to find work. I don't think her delusions of being a world-famous social media influencer have materialized, so she is most likely struggling to pay the bills. She seems to affiliate herself with some questionable products, people or lifestyles and will post nearly naked pictures of herself all day long. I see that she has attached herself to some really extreme health trends and doesn't realize or care that she is not qualified to be giving medical advice. Just because things work for her does not mean that they are healthy for her "fans" who want to look like her. To me, she does not look healthy, but that's just my opinion.

And, I agree that almost everything she posts about can be found FOR FREE online. She seems to spend a lot of time and money paying for certifications that are pretty meaningless. Like many have said, if you want to try intermittent fasting, you can find anything you need to know online - or better yet - ask your doctor.

You are so right about the amount of time and money spent on these fake, useless certifications. In the time she has wasted attending the quack online school IIN for that certification and now this, she could have completed several online courses at reputable, credible universities toward an actual college degree in some health related field. Instead, perhaps because she lacks the intelligence to successfully complete and pass a REAL course in nutrition or health science, she settles for coaching.

Any dumb schlump can buy an online certificate and call themselves a "coach." It takes hard work, diligence and a high degree of intelligence to pursue a career as a medical researcher, a dietician, a registered nurse, a PA or a physician. Kerstin has exagerratedly referred to herself in adjacent terms to most of these titles, which proves she wants to be more qualified and credentialed than she is. Why not spend the money and go back to school for the real thing, if she wants it so badly?

And what have you done with your time? What is your profession? What kind of courses, online or otherwise, have you taken to improve yourself, to stretch your brain, to become certified in some type of specialty? You know, like all the other "dumb schlumps" do.

You sound extremely envious and over the top judgemental.

Have you seen the damage this woman is doing with her phony health advice @Lakelife62? Some of it is going to get her in a lot of trouble legally. Personally, I was done with her when she dragged her sweet young daughter to a Lou Engle rally. That was enough for me to tell me all I needed to know about her "biblical truth" approach to medicine.

I would go to a nutritionist for counseling not to any “woo woo” salesperson with a useless certification.

Speaking of going back to college and getting degrees, I would love to go back and study more psychology, so I could figure out why so many here are disturbingly obsessed with Kerstin Lindquist.

This is just my opinion, but I think her mom's long battle with Alzheimer's caused her to start to look into other avenues than traditional medicine/health/wellness, etc.  And there's always been a push/pull between the vain Southern California girl with the belly button piercing vs being a true Biblical Christian, which she seemed to want to be some years ago and now has kind of fallen by the wayside, probably due to her friend circle at QVC.

I worry more about our own HHS. If Kerstin gets sued, that doesn't impact any of us. Nobody is forced to take her advice.or use her services.

Re: Kerstin Lindquist getting Fasting Coach certification?

No clinical training. No license. Meanwhile, registered dietitians spend years in school, complete supervised internships, and pass national board exams. They’re trained to manage real conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and hormone disorders.

Fasting coaches aren’t. There’s no regulation, no oversight, and no accountability. If someone’s giving advice about dementia, menopause, or endometriosis without a license, that’s not empowerment, it’s reckless.
