Re: Kerstin Lindquist getting Fasting Coach certification?

Maybe she will chain everyone together so she can monitor them like she portrayed in the movie Chains of Love..and when the fasting is over she can hook them up to her at home IV.....she sounds like a person that needs professional help...

@DREAMON

I've heard of Life Coaches, but coaching young women preparing to marry? Is that the same as hiring an assistant to help the bride plan everything?

I guess some people aren't confident in their own decision making so they need a coach for certain things. I always used family and friends as sounding boards if I wanted advice, but maybe they don't have those people.

@wilma ,

She coaches women who are engaged to be married. It has nothing to do with the Wedding Event itself.

She told me coaches them on all things related to marriage....communication, s*x, having children, finances, etc. She has meetings in her house and I have seen quite a few young women go there.

Funny thing is she gets her clientele from the Bridal Company that she works for. She is in her 3rd year of coaching.

She is a nice person but she sure does carry some baggage.

I and everyone I have talked to would never go to her for marriage advice.

I have no idea the cost but on top of everything Wedding related it would not be for me.

I hope you are feeling better and your health is improving.

I can starve myself to death without any help. LOL

Probably something that you need to ask your Dr.

about.

She looks like she fasts a lot. Boyish looking.

Re: Kerstin Lindquist getting Fasting Coach certification?

While I do not believe, trust, or respect ANYTHING that comes out of her mouth, I will say that at least she is out there trying to find work. I don't think her delusions of being a world-famous social media influencer have materialized, so she is most likely struggling to pay the bills. She seems to affiliate herself with some questionable products, people or lifestyles and will post nearly naked pictures of herself all day long. I see that she has attached herself to some really extreme health trends and doesn't realize or care that she is not qualified to be giving medical advice. Just because things work for her does not mean that they are healthy for her "fans" who want to look like her. To me, she does not look healthy, but that's just my opinion.

And, I agree that almost everything she posts about can be found FOR FREE online. She seems to spend a lot of time and money paying for certifications that are pretty meaningless. Like many have said, if you want to try intermittent fasting, you can find anything you need to know online - or better yet - ask your doctor.

@DREAMON

Interesting. Thanks for the info.

Thank you for asking about my health. I am coping. My doctors are still trying different medications to help relieve my pain and symptoms.

Wishing You the Best!

Re: Kerstin Lindquist getting Fasting Coach certification?

I have friends who are certified licensed dieticians. They have to get Bachelor's and even Master's degrees and take a state board exam, plus keep their continuing education current so they can remain licensed. Most, if not all of them would say that someone who is "certified" as a "fasting coach" or even a "health coach" is a quack and a charlatan who is likely eating disordered (orthorexic) and is not to be trusted with anyone's health or wellness.

I couldn't care less about Kerstin Lindquist. Why so many people are obsessed with her is beyond me.You would think these people were her best friends. She lest QVC move on.

Re: Kerstin Lindquist getting Fasting Coach certification?

@Suziqzee  Exactly the truth.

I don't know much  about the fasting fad but have noticed people in the past who fasted for religious reasons also mention  in their faith they have exemptions for older age people,  various health issues or pregnancy.  In other words consult a qualified professional first.
