The other day Kim was modelling a top and she stated she was wearing the medium because she gained some weight, then added she loved to eat so it's hard to lose.  Good for her for being honest.

Kim wears a " MEDIUIM" like I'm a millionaire. Qs sizing is ridiculously oversized, even so a MEDIUM on Kim is too tight.

The clothes they wear come off a rack of garments put there for hosts/models/guests to wear on set and correct sizes may not be available to them at the time they go on-air. It's not like they have an entire warehouse at their fingertips to choose the right sizes. They wear what is given to them.

That's true, however, I just find it kinda funny how Shawn and Amy (or Ame as LG calls her) have to make a big deal out of it if they have to put on a S instead of XXS, exclaiming to all that "this is too big and NOT my size".  From my viewpoint the larger size actually looks better (esp. on SK) and not skin tight on her.

Pants too tight. Why do these hosts refuse to size up?

I usually say this when they are selling shape wear.  They show a before and after.  Most of the time if the model was wearing the right size she wouldn't need the shape wear.

A few months back, Pat was hosting a Shapermint show and she told the vendor that she usually wears a Shapermint or something similar underneath her tops because she was getting too 'fluffy' for the cameras, I admired her for saying that, most hosts wouldn't admit to that but that's their choice.

Kim has said she gained 20 lbs several times and l5 lbs at other times, and I've never heard her wear any size but medium.

You can always tell her and Shawn's tops are too small when they turn and you can see rolls on their back b/c too tight.

Amy and Shawn always remark they don't look good b/c they're wearing a size up instead of their true size of XS or XXS. Instead, they both look better in the size up.

I think it's a reminder when they go up that they are gaining weight.

All three act like they show off the clothes better than the models. Many times the models are ignored.

Shawn has tried to sell the fact that she's an xxs for some time now.
A show with Isaac comes to mind. He called her out for the item being too small for her. Embarrassing for her I'm sure but the shopper needs accurate sizing to make a purchase.

Isaac told Shawn she should size up, b/c Isaac wanted his designs to look the correct way.

She, of course, took it personally and as an insult.

I agree, why have the models then?!  And why does Amy have to constantly run off and change into a garment so that the viewers can see how it looks on herđź‘€.
