Pants too tight. Why do these hosts refuse to size up?

@ellaphant   I briefly saw Ali Carr this morning and she was wearing white jeans that looked like sausage casings to the knee and then were all "bunched up" from knee to ankle.  She seemed to try to "adjust" the fit but I turned the channel because watching her made me uncomfortable.

I get tired of seeing people trying to squeeze into sizes that are obviously too small for them. I guess they don’t want to face reality.

I think there is a real desire amongst the hosts and company reps to wear the smallest size regardless of looks.  It makes me feel bad that people still think something like that really matters.  Especially when they are selling the clothes.

It's hard to judge sizing when they're wearing snug clothes. I know it's a preference as to how one wears them but;  it makes me unsure if I should size up when they do this.

I also notice the models are taking a backseat these days as the hosts wear and announce their sizes constantly instead of focusing on an array of sizes.

If the host is wearing an xx small or medium no need to have a model wearing the same size, instead show models of additional sizes.

At times, even the vendor is wearing the same size as the host and then a model will come out in that same size too. 🤦‍♀️

I look to Adrianne, or Rebecca and then decide  if I should go up or down.

I think the models, all of them do a great job. That's what they're there for. Utilize them.

I think Shawn is the worst about doing this from what I've seen. She insists on always wearing xxs or xs when a size up would look better on her IMO. A week or so ago she had on a top that looked really good on her but she was quick to mention it was too big for her as it was a S and not her usual XS, which often look too tight on her depending on the brand and style.

The clothes they wear come off a rack of garments put there for hosts/models/guests to wear on set and correct sizes may not be available to them at the time they go on-air. It's not like they have an entire warehouse at their fingertips to choose the right sizes. They wear what is given to them.

The other day Kim was modelling a top and she stated she was wearing the medium because she gained some weight, then added she loved to eat so it's hard to lose.  Good for her for being honest.
