You are right about keeping up with hair color.  I am 64 and have light brown hair with highlights.  I go in every two weeks for the roots.  I am thinking of going lighter, especially since it is summer.  My husband seems to have no problem with the frequent hair appointments.  However, he is not very happy about the thought of going ligher, or heavier highlights.  I would not go full blonde, but I would like more highlights.  Yet it is so drying.

I haven't seen Judith Ripka in a long time too and was shocked to see her today.  She must have been ill or is ill now.  If that's the case, I hope she has a speedy recovery.
