I was looking back at an old interview with Joan and LR u can tell how much Joan adored Lisa. Joan complimented Lisa on how gorgeous she looked. Joan will always be remembered for her duo partnership with Kathy but she adored LR. Lisa and her would do lunch in NYC and Joan loved how much product that Lisa would sell of hers Lisa has such found memories of Joan and literally said one of the hardest working people ever. Just another example LR was that magic for vendors that she could sell so much of their product but they built a relationship with her. U just dont see that anymore. When LR told the audience she loved loved loved it it became a best selling brand. Joan really loved and respected LR. Lisa had this with Leslie, Doris, Joan and Judith Ripka.

Huh? As in "worshipped"?

While generally supportive and tolerant of these posts, I am at a complete loss as to the point or relevance of this thread. Joan is long gone. This past relationship will likely never occur again.
I guess it's nostalgic, which is fine. No harm done.

Its mostly for nostalgia. These were QVC biggest moments in their history. Peak QVC wrre about these moments. I loved the bond that LR and Joan had. Joan realized LR magic in how she sold products. Its nice to remember the glory days of QVC

And I "adored" Joan Rivers. So what? They're both gone - get over it.

@JONNYSBRO Probably the other way around Joan was a huge star and Lisa was a salesperson on a Home Shopping show

And I'm sure Joan adored sales!

LR was more then a sales person. A sales person is hired at target or Walmart. To be a QVC host u go through a crazy casting process thats very long and competitive. Lisa was discovered in 1995 but she wasnt an over the night phenomenon. Lisa worked overnights and wasnt a big time host her first 2 to 3 years. LRS peak was about 2009 to 2014. Its when she was in that where she more of a brand then even a host. She was the darling of most vendors. Case In point because she sold so much out.

I never was a fan of Joan and I rarely, if ever, watched LR. I much preferred Lisa Mason, among others.
