Just remember, everyone, that I started this thread tongue firmly fixed in cheek.

I'd assume someone (not JF) is in charge of product placement for that show the same way as happens in movies and other TV shows. I'd think companies would be standing in line to have their products chosen - is there better publicity at a cheaper price? Probably not!

I just thought it was pretty funny that the products posters here complain about so often are the very ones they chose for give-aways. With the popularity of Jimmy's show as well as its target age group, they've got to have a huge line-up of vendors wanting to get their names on the air. And what did they choose? QVC style. Not that I seriously thought they bought it from QVC.

Rosie O'Donnell does too. At least she did back when QVC had crafting shows. Rosie is big into crafting and I remember her saying that she got a box from QVC and whoever was at her house visiting that day was ribbing her for shopping on TV.

I remember once while watching C Span live Senate debates, one of the Senators talked about all the Congressional spouses shopping with QVC and having packages by their front doors all the time! LOL, if it's good enough for Congress, it's good enough for me!
