On now 430, a new brand is on uno something. 220 for a silver tone with leather on bracelet. Wow what alot of money for silver tone. I would never pay that much.

Fortunately jewelry isn't a necessity - although there was a time when I treated it as if it were!
Fortunately, too, I still like much of what I own better than similarly priced offerings today. Last night I wore a strand of Honora keshi pearls spaced with an orange stone (simulated I'm sure.) Hadn't worn it for maybe 2 years which made it feel new and different for me.
Wouldn't buy that Odo at any price.

I was amazed at the prices. I’d have thought them high for sterling, some of the pieces. A couple pieces were interesting, but not for the price.

I thought I was the only one that noticed the prices were a little high with the brand. You would think they would premiere at a lower price to get customers to try and then raise the prices later.

@millieshops I have been purchasing jewelry since I was 18 years old and during that time I thought that it was a necessity as well. Now I have to say I can't believe how many pieces I have in my collection and when my husband saw one of my many jewelry boxes he said I could open up my own store. I wished that I had purchased more pieces that increased in value over the years. Now I just shop from my own collection!

@GAQShopr53lol I tried going the "value" way for a few years before I just stopped buying. But buying just one or two pieces a year didn't help me wean the jewelry boxes nor even create a whole lot of potential income.
Good thing that like you I still like shopping in my own house!

And I bet QVC Execs are shaking their heads wondering why jewelry sales continue on a decline......Here's a CLUE--read our comments---those prices for SILVERTONE!!! 🙄
The only jewelry I buy at QVC anymore are Or Paz and some Carolyn Pollack non-western style earrings.....These brands are good quality and REASONABLY PRICED!!!

Many retail/wholesale “stores” are not selling a lot of jewelry. Women have embraced minimalism...either wearing what they have, wearing fewer pieces w/ their outfit or are selling/clearing out their personal inventory. (Whew! Long sentence.)
Whether or not Q thinks it appeals to younger, working mothers, their target audience is still the over 55 crowd. We are, for the most part, more careful with spending...already retired or looking forward to it soon.
