Always miss Dan Hughes when Jay Leno comes on to sell his car care products.

He was the host that Jay enjoyed working with the most.  Dan knows cars, so they got along great, and you would learn a lot during the presentations.

Alberti is one of QVC's best hosts with some products/vendors (he's the only host than can get Martha Stewart to show even a hint of warmth, lol), but NFL merchandise and automobile products are not two of them, lol.  He's just totally lost and clueless.  Rick would probably work well with Jay.

I agree with you. I miss Dan Hughes also. He was really good with Jay. I also enjoyed him with Bethlehem Lights presentations.

I always liked Dan with Jay Leno and Bethlehem Lights too.  And I still miss him for certain products.

But I think Alberti did a great job.  So, he's not a car enthusiast.  He asked pertinent questions and pointed out details of what the product does and how it's used.  That's the objective of the presentation.

Sometimes someone that isn't an expert in the field is actually a better presenter.  Like Rick having to present beauty products.  He was joking about it.  But he asked about what the products are used for, what they do, etc.  Simple and basic questions and let the vendors explain their own products, which I appreciate more than jabbering on about their own kids or friends or whatever.

I happened to catch the presentation yesterday with Jay Leno and his car kit.  I thought that it would make a great gift for someone who loves to fawn over their cars and doesn't mind actually washing them.

As for me I much prefer to go to the car wash.....makes life much easier and I have enough cleaning to do in the house.

I did notice Jay with Alberti but it was the female host (I think it might have been Ali Carr) who made a comment about how she didn't realize how complicated cleaning one's car could be.  Of course Jay jumped right in and said that it wasn't complicated at all!  LOL!  I thought ...oh boy, that wasn't a good comment to make for the host!

I don't see anything wrong with Alberti's statement.

Lots of men have long hair.  Chaz Dean keeps his hair long, and puts curl and waves in his hair.  He sells his Wen items so much better because of it.  Even without the selling aspect, men with long hair is absolutely nothing new or strange.  I guess putting some wave in it keeps it from looking bone straight.

Both DANS put me to sleep. Jay L is a multimillionaire many times over.

I can't believe he's hawking products on a shopping channel.
