Never purchased, but watched JM demonstrate her oil(s) on her bare arms & body.  So much time wasted on that clip about the indigenous women cracking open those nuts, I think the entire Q-viewing audience has seen it now.  But kudos to Josie for her marketing strategies that apparently are selling her products.

@seaBreeze

Same over & over again "story" like Beekman guys who claim they were " struggling unemployed & almost broke" until they discovered goat soap ...nope they were both successful businessman, had food network show & won a million dollars winning the Amazing Race -- which they never mention.

Both these vendors remind me of those carnival barkers selling snake oil.  I won't buy from either.  Then again, I have hard time "believing" most the stories hosts or vendors say!🤨🤨

ORGANIC ARGANIA SPINOSA (ARGONA)KERNEL OIL
PRODUCT OF MOROCCO
Josie Maran says the NY Times calls it Liquid Gold in a bottle. HOWEVER it's NOT CALLING JOSIE MARANS ARGON OIL liquid gold the TIMES IS JUST REFERRING TO ARGON OIL IN GENERAL

I agree about Beekman boys as always found their story a bit fishy. Brent was (is) a doctor. How was he broke and unemployed?

@KKJ A few years ago I bought their soaps on auto delivery.  I think it may have been a TSV, 5 or 6 big bars every few months.  We are still using it up.  It smells nice, but there is nothing special about it.  Actually, it kind of dries out my skin.  I won't buy any more of their products.  I had no idea they were on and won the Amazing Race - never watch that show.  I too find their backstory a bit suspect.  While the goats are cute, we all know they just bring them on to catch the viewers' attention.

I always wondered how JM's oil is different from all the other less expensive brands.

Well,  they don't have a wealthy woman speaking from an island ,wearing very revealing clothing, slathering it on herself.  That's different.

@betteD Josie claims all kinds of things.  For me, it just sat on my skin and when I showered the next morning, it felt like grease was just washing down the drain.  I don't think I used it on my face, I put it on my arms and legs.  In my opinion, there are better, less expensive products to use.

I've been using the Argan Reserve oil for awhile now and one thing I don't like about it is it really burns your eyes if you get it anywhere near there.
