The person is on televsion.  It's what we call a visual medium.  No problem discussing it.  If it offends one, one should not appear on television.

But once again, "Why?". It WILL hurt feelings.

again, sooooo not true. if someone has an eatiing disorder, commenting on their weight (up or down) may be enough to trigger a relapse or worsent their conditions.  just keep your opinion to yourself!

NOT going to happen.

Just curious as to why?  (“NOT going to happen.”)

In my experience overweight, or underweight, nothing good comes of  the majority of comments, nor is anything good intended.

At one time, due to illnesses and medication, I lost about 35 lbs rather quickly, this on a small frame and not overweight to start. The comments to and about my being so thin were mean, neither well intentioned, nor kind.

As a matter of fact, one person was so obviously 🙄 envious and out to be hurtful, I finally looked her in the eyes and said, “eat your heart out, honey.”  Not my finest moment.

This poster doesn't care. This is a poster who is just a re-hash of about 100 other nicknames.  He/she keeps coming back with the same bad attitude.  All his/her posts are rude and nasty.  It's best to just ignore.
