Re: Mrs. Prindables Pretzels

Yes, I must agree that Laurie Shore does a good job.  Wearing an apron, and stirring the copper kettle full of caramel, I get the feeling she makes them all herself.

I think that copper (?) pot is a stage prop. I think the caramel is probably plastic and is hauled out when the rep is on the TV.

No doubt about that!  But I may have misunderstood - I thought you meant the on-air presentation, not the apples' physical presentation.  LOL!  At any rate, I'd be afraid to give them as a gift - they could pull out fillings or other dental work!

For those that may not know, Laurie Shore was a QVC host awhile back......

That sounds like a fun project for you and your grand daughter .  My sister makes those pretzels sometimes, they are good to eat too!

Re: Mrs. Prindables Pretzels

I bought these pretzels for people who help me all year.  I thought they would be safe in the house because I do not like pretzels.  Well, my husband helped himself to one and gave me a bite.  DELICIOUS  I was so shocked at how good they are. The caramel is so soft and the chocolate so dreamy, yes, even the white pretzel was fabulous.   We are now ordering a second set and do I need to tell you why?   Smiley Embarassed

Re: Mrs. Prindables Pretzels

@Helen - I agree 100%’ They ARE delicious! I gave them to coworkers last year and they loved them. I found out that Aldi is selling their own version of them. Someone I work with brought one in for me to try bc she knows I love Mrs. Prindables. They looked the same, but there wasn’t as much caramel in them. They were pretty good though. Seven come in a box. She didn’t say how much they were. She’s giving those out this year to everyone.
