Good Evening! I would appreciate your input. I have never purchased Issac Mizrahi's Pima cotton tops. I'm eyeing the Essentials Pima wide-neck tunic shown today- Item A462892. I don't see any reviews for this tunic. My biggest fear with any cotton is staining, especially grease or oily stains. Secondly it must be soft to touch, wash well with no fading, pilling, etc. Does anyone own this particular tunic, or have any thoughts you are willing to share on Issac's Essential Pima cotton tops? Thank you!!!

It stains. I have thrown away tops with stains from Isaac's pima cotton products. I tried all kinds of "laundry hacks" that posters suggested. No good.
I like the feel of pima cotton. I now buy from other retailers, not Isaac Mizrahi.

@Derwin28 @I have a few shirts. I like them, I got butter on one the other day and I treated it with dawn dishwash detergent. Laundered it as usual . Laid flat to dry and it was just like new! I didn't put it in the dryer. I'm very pleased with mine. They pack nicely Also. They work for me!

You'll probably get a lot of mixed opinions on his Pima cotton tops, but I can only pass on my own experience. I own about five of them, and I've never had a problem with washing them, throwing them in a dryer (no shrinkage in my experience). As for staining with grease or oil, as with most fabrics it's best to pre-treat.
The reason you're not seeing any reviews is that this is the first time this top has been presented.

Hi
I have a few Issac Pima items and I have had no problems laundering them, removing stains by pre-treating with a stain stick or a little dab of detergent I don't put them in the dryer.

I have some of Issac's Pima cotton tops. The material is nice, but I would never put it in the dryer. Unless it's a real tunic length, it might shrink. Is it soft? Soft enough, but not like Barefoot Dreams soft. They're nice for the money.

I don't have the top you are interested in purchasing but I have at least 10 of the Isaac Pima cotton tops I purchased over several years and they are all in excellent condition. They wash well, I put them in the dryer, no pilling or fading. I do light iron them but they are great.

I got one of Issac's pima cotton tops after reading how much people liked them.
I'm glad I got it but wouldn't get one again.
The pros-pretty color of lavender pink.
Cons-I ordered up and probably could have just kept regular size.
it tends to pucker in a spot-I don't know why.
Fairly soft but I was surprised how scratchy it felt to me. Maybe I'm just super sensitive. It is not softer than regular cotton tops I have.
It also is not that cool for summer. It's a very substantial material.
Maybe the different tops are made differently.
I do wash it on light and I do put it in the dryer until it is dry (not high heat), and it is fine. I don't notice it shrinking.
I haven't spilled anything on it so can't comment on stains.

Wow!! You ladies are great! Thank you for your input so fast! Ugg..I like the top but maybe I'll try a lighter color so I can work any stains with less fear of removing color, especially a dark color. Edit: I am very sensitive to scratchy materials. So, based on a couple of your inputs I may not be able to keep it anyhow. But think I'll give it a test drive 🧐

Ive gotten rid of my Isaac Pima cotton and 24/7 solid color pants. No matter how you launder both, they come out a wrinkled mess and must be ironed or steamed. The Pima tees shrink if dryer dried so must be hung to dry, then ironed. Who wants to iron their tee shirts?
