@KittySoftPaws  "Hospital" was my first thought too upon seeing the TSV.  Some of you may recall the old stiff uniforms that hospital nurses used to be required to wear. One of the colors is called Candy Pink, definitely a nod to the volunteer candy stripe nurses' uniform.

Below is Lucille Ball in an episode from The Lucy Show, and Laverne and Shirley as candy stripe volunteers.

@RollTide2008  I agree with you, I got it in navy and I will wear it all summer long with my other Isaac dresses. I will wear it with a rope belt that I have and a couple of my Isaac scarves and his flowered cardigans that I have purchased over the years, as well as a jean jacket. I am not working now, but I don't like to wear shorts in the summer a dress or a skirt is a good choice for me. I dress for myself.

Issac is the only brand of clothes that I still buy on the Q because his sizing is very consistent for me and I don't have to worry about sending anything back because they don't fit.

There are little touches on this seersucker dress that I like- for example, I like how the stripes are on a bias at the neckline and sleeves.  This is a nice touch.  I wonder if this is a dress that would look better in person than on TV- perhaps due to the distortion of those narrow stripes from the camera. As a fuller figure woman, I might check garment measurements and see if I could size down for a less boxy fit.

I had a chuckle at the housedress, uniform, and candy striper references.  I am 67 and remember all of these things.  However, my "kids" ages 28 to 40 remember none of it.  So if I wore this dress among my peers I might get more negative feedback than from the younger crowd,  The younger ones might think "cute dress" . Just saying.

I am not much of an Isaac fan at all but took a look at the TSV because of this thread. I think the dress is really cute! Given the dislike of it by so many others here I guess I don't know much about fashion. Ha! I don't wear dresses any longer so I won't be purchasing but I do like it.

If there is one show I will not watch it's the regular Friday fiascoes with Jen and Isaac. But against my better judgement I turned over and caught the very opening of their show a bit ago. Whoa. IMHO, neither one of them can stand the other. 😲

easy HARD PASS.  Unflattering fit and shape along with an overall candy stripe look.  If I wanted to look like a hospital volunteer from the 1950s, then yea...this is the dress.

and btw; mizrahi said Deanna was wearing a size TOO small in the midnight show.  He mentioned she needed to go up a size when he was on with Marybeth.

what about every week when he's on with Coffey, every pair of pants are leggings on her. No mention of the need to wear appropriately sized garments for her... why pick on D?

I hope those that purchased this dress are not expecting the summer weight seersucker we used to wear.  this is 61% cotton/37% polyester/2% spandex knit fabric.  Easy pass on the fabric alone.

I like the dress, I love seersucker and would buy it, but those sleeves are a bit too short for my arms, my least favorite feature.  I would need the petite and that just makes it worse.  I'd wear it with sneakers and sandals, definitely not heels.  Isaac is the one person I will watch even if not buying because he is a true designer and I respect his viewpoint on things.  I also like Jacqui Stafford.

As for the call, I heard it live and I was offended.  I'm not Jewish, but didn't appreciate the things she said at all, totally inappropriate.  I don't appreciate the "preaching" certain hosts do either.  I don't think it has a place on a tv shopping channel and I don't watch when certain vendors are on and certain hosts are on.  But, I am one person out of millions, and I'm sure others love it.
