This dress is a miss.  Wearing this dress with heels is a big no.  QVC will wear heels with anything.

As a Jewish shopper on QVC, I was stunned. How she said that she purchase bc everyone is Christian as I'm listening and Jewish Gay Isaac is listening. I'm not sure what I want done. QVC likes to says they are so accepting. Time to say they're not antisemitic too.

@evelyner

I am Jewish, too.  I don't blame QVC for the caller, but I do firmly blame QVC for accepting calls.  They are trying to get younger shoppers and keep the old ones as well.  How does taking live calls from who knows who assist in that effort!?!   Thank goodness that it was experienced Mary Beth that took the call.  She handled it well.  I have been slowly but surely drifting away from buying from QVC and this is one more reason added to my list. I was a frequent shopped for about 30 years.  They are really making me dislike them at every turn. I do think that the dress is cute, but not for me.

I'm also Jewish and missed the call.  I feel very bad that Isaac had to endure that call.  Some of those calls are just over the top.

@haddon9 , They should just stop taking the calls, they are an embarrassment !

I could do without the calls & I don’t watch QVC that much, but, it seems particular vendors like Isaac & Kim enjoy speaking with customers & customers enjoy talking to them.

It’s not QVC’s fault that the woman expressed an inappropriate viewpoint but we do have free speech in this Country so far. I’m sure Isaac has heard a lot worse.

QVC is not anti-Semitic & probably has many employees and vendors who represent many religions; you aren’t screened for religious beliefs in the workplace. You can’t control what people say & a lot of callers sound a little lonely, to me, so if it gives them joy who cares!

We have so many problems in society today because people are so thin skinned and everyone is worried about offending someone.

I didn’t hear the call but by reading posts, the caller was pro Christianity not anti anything. It’s not appropriate to express her views but not illegal nor should QVC be held responsible to monitor our thoughts or speech.

I see postings on this forum that are far worse than the caller’s comments.

Do you ever see other faiths represented on QVC? I don't. I'm not saying it never happens because I don't watch 24/7, but I don't really see other religious faiths represented in the products they sell or the conversations they have.

Perhaps QVC needs to reflect on why this woman is under the impression this company represents Christianity. Maybe it's because they aren't as inclusive and diverse as they claim to be?

So, where was the QVC "screener?"  Where was the person in charge of the 5 second delay?  The call should have been terminated. Period.  I am a Christian, but I find that whole situation offensive.   Some are saying Mary Beth handled it well, but she was put in a terrible position.  To say nothing of the humiliation and chastisement directed at Isaac.  Again, shame on you, QVC.

99% of these calls are cringey. They should get rid of them.

I was excited when I heard that Isaac was going to have a dress as his TSV since I own many of his dresses.  However when I saw it presented, it reminded me of what we called house dresses years ago.  I was very disappointed, and I didn't think it looked good on any of te hosts or models.  Sorry Isaac, I think you missed the mark on this one, but I'm still a fan of yours.

@dj chic 1000% agree.  I also have many of his dresses that I love.  This is so blah and unattractive.  I have seen people look better in a hospital gown.

oh my goodness.  Some woman just called in talking about Jesus being her savior and all people should believe in Jesus.  Mary Beth handled it okay but there is Issac sitting there uncomfortably through it all.   What a train wreck.  I was very uncomfortable listening to her.

@Teddixat I happened to hear that call too.  In fact I listened to it twice.  Felt bad for Isaac.  How uncomfortable.

As to the dress: I think it's a nice basic dress for casual ocassions.  I would prefer it in solid colors, a lower hem and a lower price.

As to the caller:  Perhaps she was confused as to what type of testimony was to be given.  Yes, QVC could have cut her off but imagine the outrage the would have occured if they cut her off while she was talking about Jesus.

I was so hoping for something new and cute to wear. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that ordinary, mundane dress.  It looks like something my mother wore to do housework back in the 1950s.  What were the buyers thinking, especially since they hope to attract younger buyers?  A pretty camp shirt or shorter pants would have been a more appropriate choice. This dress couldn't be worse as a TSV.

Poor Isaac, having to spend the day raving about such an unattractive garment. It will be a challenge.

Anyone remember candy stripers?

The TSV dress reminded me of the uniforms those hospital volunteers wore.

But with the right accessories, I think the TSV could look cute.
