I'm pretty sure the hosts are trained NOT to let the guest take over the segment.  They have important facts that need to be presented and some of the guests can definitely go off on a tangent.  Some of the hosts are better than others at "controling Isaac" but this morning made my head hurt with both host and guest talking over each other.  It tickles me though and I would never stop watching because of it.  I'm old and grouchy so maybe it bothers me more than others :-)

Oh I wholeheartedly agree! My daughter got me started watching his cooking segments and they are truly entertaining.
Yes, he's scattered and messy and neurotic in the kitchen, and that's part of his charm. He's always making something delicious, but sometimes it's a hilarious epic fail! (And he forgets ingredients too.)
He had Iman on and she was a hoot as well.

I adore Isaac.  He is a real designer, unlike some of the celebrities QVC has hawking clothes.  I found Julia just talked over him, I would like to hear what he has to say, not her.

Don't you just love his sketches .. I want a book of them ....

I do!  I'd buy a book of them in a second!  I have a vague memory of a few years ago, Isaac would draw a sketch on set, I'd love to have one of those.

Oh yes .. I remember that ....

Didn't he used to have his own TV show years ago?  Seems like I remember seeing him on another channel on a talk show type thing.

Yes he did .. and always did a sketch on air ... I loved it ...

Where would I find his cooking his cooking show?  I think I could tolerate Isaac on his own rather than working with another.  Sounds like when Julia Childs dropped the turkey on the floor and said something like "Nevermind, you're alone in the kitchen".

I haven't been able to watch him for more then a couple minutes in years....cannot do it!

Every host has to talk over him otherwise they would never get to say one word. He's either talking or constantly mumbling in the background and saying absolutely nothing of any real value or importance whatsoever.

AMAZING! 😲

I adore Isaac.  He reminds me of NYC where I live and some wonderful and creative people I know.  He's an icon here.

@marlenegardner   I doubt the ADHD part but I do think Isaac is very intelligent and creative.  I don't know how he keeps his sanity hawking the same boring tee shirts week after week with the same boring hosts that parrot the same trite explatives.  Yet he does so with such good humor.

@Kachina624 He does what most of us have to do--our jobs.  Only he makes a boatload of money for a boring job.  Must be difficult.  Sigh.
