On QVC2 and QVC3, EVERY host and guest looks crazy thin. Is something going on with focal lengths or something else manipulating the images? Are my eyes deceiving me? I flip over to QVC and the same host looks different, more believable.

You can change the "ZOOM" (sometimes called "aspect") button on your remote control, to change the broadcast picture to the proper size.

I have noticed that for some time when watching Q2 & Q3, they seem to stretch the images on the screen, I believe it has to do with your cable provider, I could be wrong, we have Spectrum cable.

On my tv HSN2 and OWN is "stretched" wide. Its the provider. I stopped trying.

My provider shows Q2 and Q3 in SD (standard definition), as opposed to HD (high definition) on the QVC Main channel.

@Tobyzeke Some older TV sets and equipment may not be compatible with High Definition broadcasts, so some Standard Definition channels cater to these viewers. Also, cost considerations: Broadcasting in HD requires more expensive equipment and infrastructure, so some stations may opt to continue offering some SD channels to manage costs.

Spectrum cable didn't carry some channels in HD, so the pictures looked stretched out. Now we have Direct TV and QVC, Q2 and others are all the correct in size.

If there's a studio at QVC that's sucking the fat out of people, I want to go there.

I noticed that on QVC and QVC2, too, but it's just been recently I have been seeing it. Although, hosts and models claim they are wearing the same size, they said quite a few times when selling something how stretch help the pounds put on over the holidays.
I did see hosts, though, not all of them, who looked like they put on weight over the holidays, specifically, around the middle, and hips including the upper thighs. A few hosts, too.
Looked up types of TV cameras. The most sophisticated can make people look normal, thinner, or heavier by setting them.
