I do not have any retail store apps on my phone except Amazon. My preferred method of shopping Q is to click Items Recently on Air on my desktop and browse what was on the day before while having my coffee in the mornings.

I'm not using their app or their Q card.

I can shop wherever I please and will do so.

There's nothing I've ever seen I can't purchase elsewhere and usually at a better price and faster delivery.

I used their card once to get a reduction and the Q charged me for making a one-time payment.

I think a company in trouble should never limit sales.

The laundry machines in my apartment building now operate via an App!

@They CallMe MRWILKES If I lived in an apt I would have loved that!  Years ago living in an apt what a pain to make sure I had a ton of quarters!

It's fabulous!

Download the app, set up your account,  load any amount of $$ you desire, connect to the machine via BlueTooth.  And you get an alert on your phone when the cycle is complete!

So how do you access the Forums?

Through the website, with an iPad.

Exactly!

You have to go through the website since you can't access the forums from the Q app.

this is something that I never thought of. I don't think it's unfair. It's just like everything else. If you have the coupon, you do if you don't, you don't.

it's a marketing tool that is very successful, so they are going to use it.

you're being tracked now because you're on the forum.

you can limit it by denying the cookies, and the advertising, if that is an option. If not after every session, clear your cookies and your tracking. Or get a very good antivirus, anti-tracking software.

I don't have the cue card so I'm not getting 5% off of every purchase and I don't get the extra discount. But it's my choice not to have the credit card so it's your choice not  to have the app.

Use PayPal and you won't have to use a credit card.

@They CallMe MRWILKES That is a convenient way to use the washing machines. However, what if a person doesn't have a Smartphone and can't access the app? They would be unable to wash clothes. Is there another alternative available?

@tansy if you have an iPad, you can download the app. An iPad is a "smart" device. It falls between a phone and a laptop.
