That Halston guy seems so sincere.  Does anyone know if he has a facebook page, I can't remember his name.  One would think QVC would announce someone's last show.  It would help their clearance sales if nothing else.  Or mention it on Monday night or online.  It seems only respectful and common courtesy to them and to us.

@Kachina624. I can’t imagine ordering something and not opening it for two months. I certainly like to donate things but not necessarily brand new

I will be sad if she is gone. I ordered quite a few of her tops and maxi dresses, wear them often, and think they're good quality. Although I didn't get to see her on air a whole lot, I watched the presentations for each item, and thought she seemed very genuine and interested in her clothes. I thought the same thing about CZJ and her home items.

I also got the Catherine Zeta Jones bathrobe - for me and for a gift last Christmas. Both of us love them, and the kitties do too!

I think the "designer" items may be designed and/or approved by the celebrities, but they are probably made at the same locations. I had the same experience with towels unraveling with the Scott brothers brand! Smiley Frustrated

A celebrity Q brand I have had consistent success with is Bob Mackie. I have liked most of my Dennis Basso and IM purchases too. And I have purchased Martha Stewart items for years at Macy's and have never been disappointed.

In order to stay on QVC your product has to sell consistently.  QVC main channel time is very valuable.

I don't know if Brooke Shields is still at QVC but just because her clothes are marked for clearance, it doesn't automatically mean she's gone. Clearance sales are normal for every designer/retailer. It's necessary to get rid of the older merchandise to make room for the new.

@depglass

I think you're referring to Cameron Silver, and yes, he does have a Facebook page. He replies extremely quickly to questions and comments - and he frequently posts fabulous photos of vintage Halston fashions. He also holds various trunk shows and special events across the country in connection with his LA vintage clothing store.

I bought a top from BS and love it, good quality and bedding from CZJ which was not so much. Halston tops do not hold up, but I bought a down coat from him 3 years ago and it is quality. I guess people don't judge quality the same way, some are just satisfied with less. CZJ made me nervous, I always thought she was going to explode, so I never watched her shows.

Tim Gunn was on exactly once with his line.  He spent a lot of time putting that first show together and he was very good at explaining his stuff, but he never returned after that one show.

Sales have to be pretty bad if you only make one appearance.
