It's very rare that I receive anything with the Quality Inspected label attached to the product but today I received a pair of Life Stride pink espadrilles with that very label adhered to the top of the box.
Upon opening the box to look at the shoes, sure enough was a spot of unknown substance attached to the top of the shoe (and I'm not even a paid inspector) that I noticed immediately. No, I can't take my fingernail and rub it off. Does it show, yes, when it's on my foot, not really....but I have a hard time believing that your inspectors actually put the shoes on.
...now for the left shoe
fragments of a loose strand of juke and glue actually protruding from the toe of the shoe.
Overall, I realize this may happen with the manufacturing on pairs of shoes that "just are sent through the system" but this pair was physically inspected by #803. What they are checking is beyond me but I sure wouldn't of passed these through unless it's actually acceptable to Q standards? What are the standards? Are these people just taking a paycheck and not really doing their job?
I seriously would review procedures in QC and especially with #803.
