@BalletBabe Have you noticed the new announcement the host makes after announcing free shipping? Shell say something like, "Old customers, we're going to have something really special for you too."
I bet meetings we're held hot and heavy at QVC yesterday trying to compensate for this travesty.
So maybe QVC does pay attention to our comments here on the board. Or they heard it elsewhere but where?
Will be very interesting if anything is actually done for the loyal long time customers.
I received a postcard today informing me I have been given a 20.00 credit on my account. Good from 10/18-10/23.

@BalletBabe I just replied with a rather lengthy explanation and got notified it was marked as spam? I have no clue why that would be, so I will try and answer you again due to all this confusion.
This is what this new offer says when you type in "coupon" in the search bar:
Start with code FREESHIP on your 1st order & get a new code via email for Free Shipping thru 1/31/23.

Notice the asterisk. When you scroll down the page and click on "read more", this comes up:*FREESHIP promo code may be used toward your first purchase from QVC and applied using standard checkout at QVC.com. First purchase must be placed by 12/31/22 in order to receive a code via email for Free Shipping on future purchases (up to a maximum of 15) through 1/31/23. A valid email address is required in order to receive the code. This promo code may be used for merchandise only, excluding gift card purchases. This promo code may not be redeemed for cash and may not be used as payment on your QCard® account. This promo code is not valid at any QVC retail location and cannot be applied using Speed Buy® functionality. The promo code is not transferable. Limit of one promo code per transaction. Cannot be reused for cancelled or returned orders. This promo code is only available for a limited time and ends on 12/31/22 at 11:59pm ET. Applies to standard shipping only. Free standard shipping offer excludes items with shipping included. Free standard shipping only applies to the first shipment of most Auto-Delivery orders. Applies to orders shipped within the Continental U.S. only. QVC reserves the right to change or discontinue this program at any time, without prior notification. If any provision of these terms shall be unlawful or unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from the terms and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provisions of the terms. Other restrictions may apply. So it is a maximum of 15 purchases with standard s & h. That makes the offer $52.50 (using 15 purchases with $3.50 s&h each) instead of an unlimited number of purchases the Q is out s & h charges. I have seen offers for $60 if we open a Q Card, so this is more in line with that most likely.I am definitely not saying it is right, I just questioned why hosts were saying unlimited for 3.5 months. I thought it was odd the Q would open themselves up to losing an unlimited amount of shipping fees.Hope this helps a bit lol. It irks me too but at least I now know it isn't unlimited.@OneHappyHiker I was wondering where your comment went. LOL I knew it was a total of 15 not unlimited. That is still way too many IMO. I haven't watched at all today. I think it is a disgrace.

@KKJ A committee is trying to dream up something really, really special. Would you be wowed by six Easy Pays?
QVC's answer to everything is those d@mn easy pays, which frankly is just a method to get people to buy more. Everyone wants free shipping and I think that deal should be offered to everyone. Many of us have no use for easy pay.

I wonder how you got that credit? Are they just randomly picking some customers lol like a *lottery* perhaps?
I've noticed that with Kohl's, for example, if you've been noted as spending 'X' amount of dollars at their store via their credit card, they often would send out a mailer throughout the year with a sticker you peel off, to see "what" discount you'll get, anywhere from 10 - 30%, and usually if you've shopped an extreme amount with your Kohl's card you'll 'magically' often get the 30% off coupon. At least Kohl's was working on recognizing their loyal customer base, more than I can say for the Q. And yes, I know all about the way brick and mortar stores do bait and switch with pricing, but that's been the case for years (I used to work in retail for years lol) - but again, at least they did give a nice offer.

@giova If they had anything I couldn't live without, that may be an option, but I think sales will just fall off.
All those new customers that just all of a sudden tuned in and just found that channel...Really?

I agree...I just averaged it out...I'm sure the most popular hosts draw in more interest and viewers, but I bet it was a lot of them...
And really, free shipping may be a "thiing" on QVC, but a LOT of the big online vendors have it all the time.
And some of the products sold on QVC that are national name brands....it pays to check thier sites before you buy from QVC....
And in the end we all know...NOTHING is "free".
We are paying for that shipping no matter what.
@Othereeeen I would hope they explained the fine print to the newbies that free shipping still means $6.95 or $7.95 for returns. They'll get scr*wed just like the older customers.

@giova @Many of us do have more than one email address. Not sure if this would work, if the same shipping address is used?
@september If I cared to bother, I could send items to my offic, my DH's office or any neighbor.
I go back to it's the principle that new customers get perks and not the rest of us. No thanks. I don't want their products no matter where it's mailed.

I think shipping these things that have been purchased and received are kinda like cutting off your nose to spite your face.
And YES there should be something for "already customers".
