@BeccaLou ................you are so right.  Management should not let any employee be abused, verbal or otherwise.

If I see it, I will not let it happen.  I can be very verbally abusive to a jerk.

@denisemb    I've been using the Walmart pick up service about 3 1/2 yrs, since it started at my store.  I've never seen anyone tip one of the workers and hope they don't start.  They are adequately compensated.

When I order groceries online, I add the tip to the total that I pay online.  No cash tip changes hands.  So the fact that you've "never seen anyone tip" doesn't mean a thing.

@JumpTheRope   You're right about one thing.  I am an expert on wage and salary info and have testified as such in legal proceedings.  If that makes me "elitist", then so be it.  I don't mind being elite.

You must have a poor self-image to be so disturbed because someone uses proper terminology that you apparently don't understand.  Because you don't understand, you ridicule.  Now that tells me who and what you are.

Close to home, maybe?

“out of line”....

typical elitist rebuke from the  self-described superior class.

Just by stating that real workers are “already adequately compensated “

tells everyone who YOU are.

But let’s agree that in reality, neither of us know the other.

So it’s a “draw”, “even steven”, or  .......a truce.

@JumpTheRope  @SarahW    It is also polite on this board when addressing someone to use @ + their name so that they're notified you've mention them instead of sneakily sniping at them, hoping they never see your rude post.

@denisemb   I applied and did training for instore instacart and we told no tips were allowed, in fact they were taken off of the app for the customers.  Maybe home delivery for instacart is different.

“hoping they never see your post”?? What? Maybe that’s how YOU operate.

Since I’m not a thread nanny or have 35,000 posts, it’s true I don’t know all the rules.

You are coming across as very arrogant, smug and superior.

But Im fairly certain that  does not concern you.

Or is it that no one else has ever “disagreed” with your POV?

Self-righteous, know-it-all behavior also implies *bully*, who uses

fancy credentials to justify well placed stabs.

Heres my credentials, I’m a former woman Marine, (information specialist)

followed by other pursuits, but don’t claim to be an “expert”

or a graduate of Charm School.

This isn’t a competition, you know that, right?

You (posts) remind me of those “christians” who judge others mercilessly,

point fingers, look away from the “homeless” and mumble

‘GET A JOB”  while throwing pennies at their feet.

Sigh.....claiming you “know all about” me definitely doesn’t mean you

know *me*

Don't lecture me on forum etiquette.   I quoted your post, so get over it.  I'd hardly call quoting you on the open board "sneaky," since anyone on earth with an internet connection can see it.
