I do not generally do something like this.   I discovered your post by accident and I care to respond because of a simiar issue I faced yesterday.   I called to speak to a supervisor because as I see it, when the company knows the product is sold out, they owe it to the viewers to let them know.   As I see it, and said it, this becomes false advertising (advertising a product that is sold out).   Getting the hopes up of viewers, letting them down, and in my case now that I want the product, I am considering spending roughly one thousand dollars more for a similar product (exercise equipment) that aired Saturday; sold out probably Saturday, yet aired through the day yesterday and first thing this morning.

As I knew when i made the call, I would be told that there is nothing that can be done. For a company that is as professional as they claim, this is terribly wrong and unprofessional.   Note:   I spoke to a supervisor after 6 PM.   The product aired again possibly at 9 PM.   At this time however, there was a SOLD OUT banner on the screen.   A little too late for the hundreds to thousands of viewers watching the presentation earlier.

I don't bother to watch QVC2 because I am not watching "re-runs" .  They could easily run a scroll to let people know this is a previously recorded show and that the items may not be available at the price.
