The only way I see Corporate turning things around is to FIRST lower prices. Clothing prices are out of control! SECOND, fix your shipping and returns departments!!! We really have to monitor our accounts now especially for refund processing.

My miillennial kids and their spouses would never buy from QVC.

QVC is not cool enough for them. Also letting go of two hosts is not going to dig them out of this mess they created.

@hbdreamin - Over the last month it has been roughly four (4) days after I receive the email that says my order shipped that it is at my door.

You are incredibly naive if you think any of that makes any difference to anyone. They laid off 400 people and they didn't just wake up in the morning and decide to do it for fun. They don't care what you think or what any of us think. Do what you have to do to work yourself through your grief but don't fool yourself into thinking that anyone at QVC cares.

The hosts are contract employees; they well know the reality of working under a contract.

Their termination was a business move, not a personal act towards either employee. The connections both have made will serve them well if they choose to remain in this type of work environment.

They'll be better than ok. They are of retirement age. They were high income wage earners so they have retirement accounts, savings. Investments. Their homes are probably paid for. They might end up working as some company's product rep. They will be fine. Just as many other hosts who get dropped bounce back into other things.

Just a thought - Dan & Carolyn may have known this layoff was coming quite some time ago and it was not a topic for them to discuss until the actual day.

While it may be a shock to you they probably knew. Corporate layoffs happen all the time. Those you probably don't know about because you don't see them in your living room on a daily basis.

These are not your friends, they are sales people who just happen to be on your tv screen.
