Hosts vs Guests

Why do the hosts continually talk over or interrupt a guest who has been invited to present their product? If the guest is the expert on whatever, let them talk!! I care more about what the guest has to say than the host. After all, if the guest isn't the expert on the product , then why bother to have them on? I think it's rude! There have been times when I've actually cringed at how rude the host is toward the guest.
