I was watching Denim and Co. this morning and I heard Carolyn state that she bought ALL colors in the seersucker shorts. I think there were at least 6 colors. She has every right to do that, assuming she is telling the truth. But if she is telling the truth, it seems like bragging to me, or she has a shopping addiction. Plus, I don't need to know that and it does not influence whether I buy them or not. If she is lying, or saying it because her producer told her to, well then shame on her.

I'm not seeing desperation, but they do seem a bit pressured by the pace. I think they have a lot of the sale items to present and try to move.
They don't seem to be presenting individual sale items as long as we normally see, but likely due to limited supply, with some already sold out. They're keeping it moving.

@millieshops wrote:@ALRATIBA I assume Pat is still hosting. She was just being Pat for the entire first hour, no desperation at all. Or has someone else stepped in to replace her?
@millieshops I like Pat's hosting. But her "buy all inseams" when selling Susan Graver's liquid knit straight leg pants is a prime example.
Pat doesn't yell or preen around, she's too classy for that. But the hard sell comes in many different forms.

@Puppy Lips .............Dont you know that Carolyn buys multiples of all of D&Co and has for years?
She must have a huge warehouse for her closet.
I think she exaggerates a bit.

@Caaareful Shopper Pat can't be so stupid that she doesn't know the rise varies in the various inseams. If a tall person bought a petite inseam, or vice versa, there would be a sad uncomfortable customer. I heard Marybeth pull that "buy multiple inseam" krap about a week ago. All they'll get out of that is a bunch of returns. They are deliberately misleading customers.

She's trying to make a strong case to buy Barefoot Dreams instead. But is she that career-shallow that she doesn't remember QVC carries Juicy Couture? The BD vendor seemed a little uncomfortable.
I'm not watching this morning, but your post reminded me of the other day when the Foreo Luna cleansing device was being demonstrated. It was clear the hosts were using Purity Cleanser, although the bottle was turned around. Jane T. literally said, "this best selling cleanser isn't removing this make-up, but when I use the Foreo Luna, it comes right off!"
If any of the Philosophy reps had been watching I'm sure their blood was boiling. Mine would have been. Hosts should not bash one of their top rated sellers to sell another item. That's both tacky & unprofessional.
You watch...the next time Jane T. sells Purity, she will speak of it as if it fell from heaven above.

@SurferWife yikes! If I worked for philosophy I would be miffed! I have a question....many vendors take pride saying that thier garments are manufactured in a facility where other "high end" garments are made. I don't get the comparison...many companies manufacture lots of items in their plant. The customer gets what they ask for...somehow I don't see why this is a selling point...

Maybe the only shoppers are the QVC family. I'm certainly not seeing anything that I would take a chance on purchasing and then having to return. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice...I'm out of here.
