When did the Holiday return policy begin September or October?

9/22/18 is the official start date for extended holiday returns for all items. all items can be returned through 1/31/19.

 

 

"Yes, you can shop with confidence this holiday season! Any holiday gift you purchase now until December 21 at 11:59am ET can be returned for any reason for a refund of the purchase price, minus the S&H and Q Return Label fee, until 1/31/19, or exchanged for a free replacement of the same item in a different color or size. Restrictions may apply."

I bought a Christmas Item in July and its cheaper now!  Can't return.

 I'm not surprised the price is lower now....it's getting near end of the Christmas selling season and they're trying to get rid of stuff.  Lowering prices helps do that.

 

As I recalll, @Catch71, the extended return policy applies to Christmas in July items, too, so you may be able to return your item. I would call CS and ask.

@nomless  When I was growing up, the Christmas buying season truly started on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving.  And back in those days, nothing went on sale until after Christmas....all gifts to give before Christmas were priced at retail price.  Boy, have times changed!

Are the dates the same for HSN?  I  think I will have two items to return.
