The only thing that bothers me is at midnight when they say,  oh this color is going to be gone by morning.   We don't have many and it is popular.  In the meantime , that item is still available at 7 pm that night.

Funny recently, David said very thing, Selling Rachel Rays TSV. Red was going quickly, Then shortly after said won't last long. 9pm You guessed it, Red TSV available. That doesn't bother me, Crazy funny.

Re: High Pressure Sale Pitch

Yes I get annoyed at some of the pushy pitching.
They always stress this is the Last Time we will have this on easy pay ... Or 'this is never coming back'... Only to see it back in a few months.
I also get annoyed when certain hosts say 'I use this cleanser EVERYDAY'!
Come on...how many times can you wash your face with so many products you are selling?
We all know the more they sell on their time slot, the more $$ they make.
But some act like they are so spiritual and I resent this.
They are not speaking truth if they say they are using all these beauty items in one day .... The cleansers the Mally makeup the Doll makeup the Bare Essentials makeup the It cosmetics .... Come on be honest please.

Re: High Pressure Sale Pitch

to KYToby I was not complaining about the high pressure, I was responding to the person who wanted to know how high pressure tactics  work. I donot mind the host who practice this that is their job. If It bothered me I would not watch.

It's difficult for me to understand how someone on tv can give high pressure sales pitch to a viewer.  The viewer controls the remote.

I am pretty much  immune to high pressure sales tactics. Just turn the channel. I think those weird kiosks at the mall are the worse for people actually walking after you to sell their junk. Have had to turn on them a few times and tell them to knock it off.

Yes, the ones in the mall that want you to answer just one question after initially telling them not interested. The last time I was at our mall they were gone. They were so aggressive that I wonder if the mall asked them to leave.

I agree, they are SO annoying!  One of them ran after me one time and grabbed my hand, even after I had told him I wasn't interested and kept walkiing.  I almost punched him!
