@kucrush.  It has for sure become the "annoying item of the season".  They did two TSVs in a period of about a week, and I doubt we're finished with them.

Cold temps are apon us & in some parts of the country freezing temps = DEAD BATTERY season.

Also, people are not driving their cars all that often now.  Cars sitting in driveways, garages, street for weeks on end = DEAD BATTERY.

Not surprised Q is having Halo Bolt Overload

@Mz iMac   There is that eyeball again.  LOL   Funny you said that because I have 2 cars and with driving so little one went dead from sitting.  I have a bolt that I bought 3 years ago.  Started right up!   It is a good product.

@kucrush  It seems a Halo product has been the QVC star for several Christmas seasons. It's one of those easy gifting items.

I noticed that the Q reviews for Halo Bolt are rather mixed.  50% seem to have problems starting up their cars.  They can start it up at first, after that something goes wrong.

Reading the reviews from users around the net including YouTube, 90-95% are excellent-good reviews.

Makes me wonder what is so different w/the Q Halo Bolts than the ones in retail stores?  confused.gif

@Mz iMac   One thing I learned was that several years ago, I had a really bad battery.   I got stuck in a shopping center parking lot and it did not work.  If a battery is beyond help, it won't work.  I think that is what happens to most.  It is good if you leave a door open, or don't run a car for awhile.  If you have a really old and bad battery forget it.

@BalletBabe  That is a really good point!   Never thought the health of the battery would come into play.  Especially if the battery is the cause of a parasitic drain.
