Yes, you do have to use good judgement, but one doesn't have to live their entire life under a rock.  Geez.

I asgree-you have to be careful and sensible, but this is 2023, and the world is doing it.......Most of my daughter's friends met their husbands that way as well..

Ask around-you would be amazed at who is using online dating apps..

I wouldn't trust those people as far as I could throw 'em.

Wow, I am on Bumble and have dated attorneys, dr’s, and a local politician. I also have met some great women on Bumbles BFF option.

My 81-year-old mom is dating a 75-year-old man who is well-educated and very wealthy whom she met on A dating site.

You are very closed-minded.

I have a beautiful young niece who met her husband online.  There is no way you would think she would need a dating app.  Also, a cousin of mine met his wife online.

All I will say is that I am glad I never had to do that.  And should my husband pass away before I am old and decrepid, I will quite happily live alone.

I'm not that hard up or even want for that matter some person that might be posing as a good person and put my life in danger.   Physically and financially.

I'm not that trusting..........

You can meet someone in a grocery store who could put your life in danger. Just because you meet the person online isn't any more dangerous than meeting them another way. You should use the same judgement whether you meet on an app or in church.

I met my husband on match.com. We are extraordinarily happy and we would have never met otherwise and I would have missed out on my greatest love of all time.

Oh and in the real world of 2023 online dating is very much in. I have never done it, but I don't pass judgment on those who do.

Kathy Levin found her husband on an online dating site.

Actually, Kathy Levine met her 2nd hubby thru the personals ad in the newspaper, back then in the late 90's I am not sure there were online dating sites.
