If I never see anotherthing about that DOORBELL thing it will be too early.  It seemed that every time I switched to see what's on QVC it was that doorbell thing. UGH!

I did not watch the Q AT ALL this entire weekend, even while cleaning house Friday (I generally keep it on in the background while cleaning). NOT ONE single show. I think I’ve set a new record. There was absolutely nothing I wanted to see.

Funny I stopped watching HSN years ago because of the 20-30 min. presentations of the TSV or whatever they called it gosh they would only show 3 or 4 items in an hour, so boring   When QVC bought them out I was so hopefull that they would change the way HSN did things but alass it seems to be the other way around and now QVC as turned into HSN,  the endless presentation of every item they show UGH !!!   I haven't watched all weekend.  To tell the truth I think I've only bought 2 gifts this year from them and I used to do most of my shopping here.  I sure hope they go back to the way things used to be done because I agree with everyone else it has become more than  boring and this weekend has been just awful !

I have never liked the holiday programming. It would be fine if they kept most of the regular programming and sprinkled in a few gift shows and Christmas decorating shows. I don't like the fact that they select gifts to feature and it seems like that is all that is on. I have never understood why they can't just show seasonally appropriate items in all the regular categories and add in a few toy and Christmas decorating and food shows (particularly since they have added two additional channels and I am not sure that either of them is live for more than a few hours a day). There seem to be hardly any jewelry shows anymore and too many beauty shows. Josie Maran is a sweet girl with a great product, but she is on so much that  I automatically flip the channel when I see she is on again. The programming needs to be better balanced.Smiley Happy

I haven't tuned to QVC in weeks.  I don't miss it.  Used to have it on in the background for "noise," but now I enjoy the silence of no TV or a music channel.  If I need to shop for something, I drive to a local store.

I also used to watch entire shows, but rarely now.  I try to catch PM Style with Leah on QVC2 Wednesday evenings.

If they are going to focus on things like doorbell ringers for hours, do they really need highly trained and paid hosts?  If I worked there as a host, think I would be wondering where this is going.

I agree with you - endless hours of various items not in any particular order or group; except computers.  The hats followed by cool humidifiers followed by a blanket and on to some toy.  Seems like it's all just junk after a while.

The entire day filled with the TSV in either hours or part of every hour is obnoxious.

IMO QVC,HSN,Evine have all been horrible.  I just dont watch, and I am probably saving some money.

@aggravated your comment about junk resonated with me. any time I looked to see if there was something on Q/Q2 that I might be interested in, the answer was nope so I stopped looking altogether after realizing that Q's version of Black Friday sales wasn't worth anything to me.

If they are going to have three channels, they should be Electronics and Appliances only, Beauty, Jewelry and Fashion only, and Kitchen and Food only.  Not all the same items on every channel.  They would be able to find out pretty quickly what most buyers want that way.

I only know that because of what has been said here.  We don't get the other two channels in our area (and I probably wouldn't watch if we did).
